Irene Damages? Tell Nyack, Rock. Co.

Nyack, Sept 2 — The Village of Nyack and the County of Rockland need your help documenting losses sustained from Hurricane Irene. The Rockland County Office of Fire and Emergency Services will compile these data and forward to FEMA to determine how much emergency aid will be available to the county.

If you experienced any losses from last weekend’s hurricane, village officials would like to include that information in the package that will be forwarded to Rockland County. Please email Village Clerk Mary White by 5p on Friday, September 2 with:

  • Contact info (name, address, phone number)
  • the value of your land,
  • the value of your structure
  • the estimated value of your damages
  • a very BRIEF (one sentence if possible) description of your damages.

Please also include photographs of damages to and clearly identify with their location and name. Additional information is available at http://www.co.rockland.ny.us.
