Schools Super Says: Let’s Talk

by James J. Montesano, Nyack Superintendent of Schools

It is an honor and privilege for me to serve as your new Superintendent of Schools.  Many people who have spoken to me about the Nyack Schools have related the pride and rich tradition that exists here. I look forward to meeting more community and staff members as I continue to learn as much as possible about the District.

One of my priorities is to maintain a dynamic two-way communication process with all District stakeholders.  To this end, although my door is always open, I am scheduling time to chat with anyone interested in doing so on Mondays and Wednesdays in July through August 12 between 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM.  In addition, for your convenience, late day hours will be available on Wednesdays, July 20, July 27, and August 3 between 4:00 ‘€“ 7:00 PM.

Please call my office (353-7015) if you are interested in making an appointment for a half hour session on any of these dates.    I look forward to a rewarding school year as we build a trusting and open relationship with caring for kids as our focus.

James J. Montesano, Ed.D. joined the the Nyack School District last month as the new Superintendent of Schools. He previously was Superintendent of Schools in Paramus, NJ.
