NYS Assemblywoman Ellen Jaffee (D-Suffern)
Albany, June 14 — Assemblywoman Ellen Jaffee (D-Suffern) will be joining the NYS Democrat leadership in Albany, having been named Secretary of the Majority Conference.

Jaffee will help develop strategy, steer policy, and advance the overall interest and goals of the Democratic conference and its members.
The appointment was part of a shakeup in leadership positions announced by Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver.
