Nyack’s Art Walk 2011 got off to a festive start Friday night with a reception in the Nyack Library’s new Community Room, which was filled with artists, merchants, and art lovers celebrating the opening of Nyack 6th annual Art Walk.
Art Walk continues over the weekend at more than 30 stores, museums, and public spaces around the village, where local artists display their work and are even at their venues to meet the public.
The theme of this year’s event is ‘€œA Tribute to Edward Hopper.’€ Saturday hours are 12n-5p and 6p-9p. Hours for Sunday are 12n-5p.
