Nyack’s Streetscape To Kick Off on 6/4

Nyack’s Streetscape beautification project kicks off with a ground-breaking ceremony on Saturday, June 4 in downtown Nyack.

Eight years in the making, the Streetscape project will begin construction on Monday June 6 on the South side of Main Street at Franklin, enhancing the community’s quality of life and the downtown economy. The project will be done in sections to allow merchants to conduct business as usual.

Carol Fleischmann, Chair of the Friends of the Nyacks’ Streetscape Committee, will host the official ground-breaking ceremony on June 4 at 2p at the corner of Franklin and Main Street.

Merchants will provide visitors with special events, sales, music, food and an all around good time throughout the facelift. For project updates, visit nyack-ny.gov
