Spring Street Weekend in Nyack

Music, dance, visitors and vendors will fill Main Street and Broadway this weekend…plus some tours galore. Here’s some of the stuff that’s scheduled:

  • African American Day Parade (Sat May 14 at 2p) — The award winning East Ramapo Marching Band and a pair of NFL stars will parade with local celebrants in Nyack’s third annual African American Day. The parade steps off at 2p down Main Street followed by a multicultural festival in Memorial Park.
  • Nyack Street Fair Sunday (Sun May 15 10a-5p) — The second Street Fair takes place on Sunday from 10a-5p.
  • Rivertown Film Kitchen Tour (Sun May 15, 10a-4p) It’s a Kitchen Tour de Force with ten of Nyack, Piermont and Grandview’s most creative, state of the art, comforting and coolest kitchens.
  • Upper Nyack Walking Tour (Sun May 15, 2p) Learn the history of the Hopper House, the “Goosetown Against the World” fire company, Pretty Penny and the Port of Upper Nyack during the Upper Nyack Walking Tour on Sunday May 15.
