Rockland County, Fri May 27 — The Tappan Zee Express will add additional buses today from Tarrytown to accommodate an expected early rush hour. On Memorial Day Monday, both the TZx and TOR (Transport of Rockland) buses will operate Saturday schedules — with the exception of TOR Loop #1 and Loop #2.
Here’s the day by day detail from the Rockland County Dept of Transportation:
- TZX: On Friday, there will be additional buses on regularly scheduled afternoon departures from Tarrytown to accommodate an expected early rush hour. On Monday, the Tappan Zee Express will operate on a Saturday.
- TOR: On Monday, TOR buses will run on Sat schedules Saturday schedules. TOR Loop #1 and Loop #2 will operate normal schedules.
- TRIPS Paratransit buses, Clarkstown Mini Trans, Spring Valley Jitney, Coach USA Express (Exit 14 Park & Ride) and the Haverstraw-Ossining Ferry will not operate on Monday.
- Coach USA’s Rockland Coaches (Red & Tan Lines) local routes #9, 9W, 11-A, 11-C and 20 will operate Sunday schedules on Memorial day. Commuter express routes will not operate.
