Nyack’s Village Board meets Wednesday 4/27 at 7:30p to adopt a 2011-12 fiscal year budget for the village which will raise property taxes by .96 percent. The trustees are also scheduled to vote on a Memorandum of Understanding between the village and Riverspace which will solicit developer’s interest and ideas about developing a Superblock in downtown Nyack.
The usual Thursday meeting was moved up to Wednesday evening so as not to conflict with the annual NAACP Freedom Fund dinner featuring former UN Ambassador and Mayor of Atlanta Andrew Young.
