Believe it or not, there’s a blog devoted to post offices. A recent post office post focused on the PO just up the road from Nyack.
Promising to “This blog aims to showcase the various post offices from around the country, from the post office in the middle of New York City to the small town post offices found in so many communities,” the MyPostOffice blog writes about the USPS office at the Palisades Mall.
“It’s not everyday you see a post office in a mall. But at the Palisades Center in West Nyack, New York, you can shop til you drop and then get some stamps and shipping supplies.”
And not to be outdone, an intrepid video blogger created a short YouTube video highlighting this post office, too. You can’t make this stuff up. Really.
Now, aren’t you glad that Al Gore invented the Internet so we can learn about stuff like this? :>)
