CBS’ Under Cover Boss featured Stephen Foster the CEO (not the songwriter) visiting his Lucky Strike Bowling location at the Palisades Mall. TvGrapevine.com writes:
Traveling to West Nyack New York, he goes undercover as a mechanic. Meeting with Angel, he changes into a Lucky Strike uniform. Learning preventive maintenance, he is told to be careful and be aware of what he is doing and where he is sticking his hands. Angel doesn’t feel that Aaron is someone who is cut out for this job, as he can’t imagine him climbing up and working on these machines several times a day.
Lucky Strike and Undercover boss Foster were all over the ‘net, with posts on AOL’s Daily Finance, MyGoogleTrends, and TrendSpot.com. What’s the consensus? The bloggers like Foster but think his toupee wasn’t very convincing. Lucky Strike Lanes is more like a night club than a with a few lanes thrown in than a bowling alley. And his employees seem to have missed what his customers know and like: Lucky Strike isn’t your father’s bowling alley. So much for the value of the suggestion box.
