Nyack, Oct 16 — For the second time this year, there has been a robbery at the Trustco Bank in Nyack on Rt 59.
Orangetown Police say someone entered the Trustco Bank at about 9:35 this morning and demanded money from a teller after displaying a pistol. He fled on foot in the direction of Nyack with an estimated $65,000 in cash.
Police are looking for a black male, approx 5’6’€ to 5’8’€ thin build with some facial hair. The suspect was dressed completely in black.
This Trustco Bank Branch was also robbed on August 14th of this year.
The Orangetown Police are being assisted in this investigation by the FBI-White Plains Office and the Rockland County Sheriff’s BCI. Any person who may have witnessed this robbery or has information about it is asked to call the Orangetown Police Detective Bureau at 845.359.2121
