Nyack, Oct. 3 — Shots were fired at the Riviera Steakhouse on lower Main Street in Nyack early Saturday morning.
Police are holding a 30 year old Haverstraw man who is accused of robbing several bar patrons in the parking lot and threatening the DJ before firing a weapon.
Orangetown police recovered a .38 caliber handgun from suspect Francisco Cintron after the early morning altercation at the Riveria. Witnesses say Cintron fired two rounds into the air after threatening the DJ. Police say he robbed jewelry, money and credit cards from customers prior to the shooting.
Cintron was charged with Robbery 1st, Criminal Use of a Firearm 1st, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 1st, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th, and Reckless Endangerment.
On January 29, a Friday night fight at the Riveria resulted in two arrests and an officer being sent to the hospital with shards of glass in his eye.
