Talk A Walk Through Nyack History

Take a Sunday stroll through time on 10/3 and learn how Nyack’s downtown grew from a small, late 17th century outpost to a thriving river port and leading commercial center of Rockland County.

Learn about its decline and rebirth as a dynamic community and the arts and antiques center of Rockland. See Nyack’s skyscraper where Nelson Rockefeller spent an afternoon with architectural detailing that is some of the best in the country.

Sponsored by the Friends Of The Nyacks, the tour starts at at 2p and meets at the foot of Main Street down by the river. The fee is $5.
