Nyack’s Hopper House offers two School Vacation Art Workshops for children ages 7-13 in October and November.
Each workshop explores America’s foremost realist painter, in the home where he grew as an artist. Each class will focus on creating a project inspired by a different Hopper painting.
The classes will be held on Monday, October 11, 10:30-12n and Thursday November 11, 10:30-12n with instructor, Lauren Doner, a professional scenic painter who has worked on films such as I am Legend, Spiderman and Sherlock Holmes.
Fee: $17 ($15 HH members) + $3 materials fee per session; Both classes in advance 10% discount.
Scholarship available. Space is limited. Pre-registration required.
