Sunday: Situational Crime Prevention Session

Spring Valley — Situational Crime Prevention, providing viable alternatives and strategies for juveniles and young adults, is the topic for a public discussion on Sunday 8/29 at 3p in Spring Valley.

Two guest speakers will discuss programs to effectively avoid or change anti-social or criminal behavior, dysfunctional family environment, educational ‘€˜drop-out’ and ‘€˜gang’ mentality. Maxito Sainvil, Crime Prevention Bureau, Evangelist and Educator and Jodi Michel, Crime Prevention Bureau and Rockland County Correction Officer join Rockland County Legislator Jacques O. D’I. Michel at this monthly community informational session.

The meeting will be held in the 1st Floor Community Meeting Room at the Finkelstein Memorial in Spring Valley. The library is located at Madison & Route 59.
