Marie Lorenzini, a 29-year resident of Nyack, has served Nyack in a public capacity before. A former member of the Board of Zoning and Planning and Nyack Village Trustee from 2004-2009, Mr. Kavesh said that Ms. Lorenzini brought tremendous experience from her incredible involvement in the Village of Nyack, ‘€œ I was so glad she was willing to say yes.’€

Mr. Kavesh spoke about how he had met her and her husband while campaigning for mayor. Mr. Kavesh closed by saying that he believed that Ms. Lorenzini’s experience combined with the fresh face that Ms. Bristol brings to the authority was an ‘€œexcellent combination to bring.’€
