Rockland’s First County Exec, John Grant

Rockland County, May 8 — John Grant, who served two terms as Rockland County’s first County Executive, passed away today. He was 78 years old.

Prior to becoming County Executive, Grant served as the county’s legislative chairperson for five terms. More recently, he was a member of the Board of Directors at United Hospice of Rockland.
