The Hopper House presents Artists In The Garden, a program of four consecutive Tuesdays in July and August for kids 7-13 years old. Sign up for any one day or for all four dates: July 13, 20, 27, and August 3 from 4:30-5:30p.
Each week a different artist is explored and a project is created inspired by that master artist. Matisse and Leonardo Di Vinci are just some artists that will be used as inspiration. Participants will come away with not only a great experience and a beautiful piece of work but also a deeper understanding of that artist and their significance.
Lauren Doner, a professional scenic painter who has worked on films such as I am Legend, Spiderman and Sherlock Holmes will be the instructor for this class. There’s a fee of $15 per session with Hopper House members receiving a $2 discount. A 10% discount if you sign up for all four classes and pay in advance.
