Haiti Benefit Concert at Riverpsace

As children in Haiti return to school, there’s an urgent need for services to help them cope following the devastating earthquake in February.

On Saturday April 18, Emeline Michel, Mika Benjamin, Mark Marthelier, Marie-Michelle Sorell and Majorie Camille will perform at 7p at Riverspace to benefit Haitan children suffering from post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as a result of the Haiti earthquake.

The Haitian-American for Humanitarian Action is assembling a team of trained practitioners, in the fields of education and psychology, for a mission to Haiti in support of the ministry of education, in preparation for the 2010-2011 school year.

General admission tickets are $35 with children 16 years old and under $20. VIP tickets, which include an after show artist meet and greet cocktail reception, are $55.
