Jerry Koblin is the honoree at the Friends of The Nyacks Outstanding Citizen Award Dinner on Friday, April 9 for the his longtime service and commitment to the Nyack community.
As proprietor of Koblin’s Pharmacy in Nyack, Jerry Koblin has been tireless in his dedication to his hometown with roots that go back to 1908. Jerry’s father opened Koblin’s in 1934 and Jerry took over the business in 1971. He is a past president of the Westchester & Rockland Society of Pharmacists and has been involved in the American Cancer Society and the Drug Guild as well as a supporter of the Friends’ Mostly Music program and Jazz at the Hopper House.
The Friends of The Nyacks invite you to join them in honoring Jerry at a “Black Tie Optional” evening of dinner, music & dancing at The Nyack Seaport, Friday, April 9, 2010 at 7p. Tickets are $85 per person or $850 per table . Proceeds from the evening will be used to fund the 2010 Friends of the Nyacks programming.
