Since April 1, more of your neighbors in the Nyacks can say Yes, I did. Nyack has jumped 16 points up to 62 percent participation. South Nyack has improved 14 points to 61 percent and seven out of ten Upper Nyackers have mailed back their census forms. Clarkstown leads Orangetown 73-70 and Rockland County is at 69 percent. As of April 19, New York State’s 2010 participation rate was two points ahead of its final 2000 Census participation rate. The Total US average for 2010 69 percent.

If you haven’t mailed back your form, get it in the mail today before census workers come a knockin’.
