Assassins at The Antrim

There’s a murderous musical revue of wannabe presidential assassins now playing at the Antrim Playhouse. It’s both surreal……and Sondheim.

The 1990 Tony award winning show, Assassins, is the offbeat musical story of nine presidential assassins from John Wilkes Booth to John Hinkley Jr. It’s playing now through May 23 at the Antrim Playhouse in Suffern.  Show times are Friday and Saturday evenings at 8p and Sundays at 2p.

With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim based on an idea by Charles Gilbert, Jr. and a book by John Weidman, the cast for the Antrim production includes several Nyack High School students. Call (845) 354-9503 for tickets and information or visit AntrimPlayhouse.com.
