Olympian Scull Champ Speaks On Mar 13

Beijing Olympics single scull silver medalist and eight-time US national team member Michelle Guerette is the guest speaker at the River Rowing Association Annual Benefit dinner on March 13 at the Nyack Center.

The dinner follows the RRA’s charity fundraiser Pull With Purpose for the Nyack Center earlier in the day.

There’s a meet and greet at 5, dinner at 6 and dance till after dark with Nyack’s own rockabilly group Four Gun Ridge from 8-10p. Tickets are $45/person, $15 6-12 yrs with children 5 and under free.

Now it its seventh year, the RRA is a non-profit Nyack-based community rowing association offering competitive and recreational rowing to area youth and adults.  Instruction, training, participation, competition, team spirit, enjoyment and respect for the environment of the Hudson River Valley are all tenets of the River Rowing Association program.
