Rockland, Orange Flood Watch

Rockland County, March 22 — The National Weather Service has announced a Flood Watch for Monday and Tuesday in Rockland and Orange counties.

Up to 1 1/2 inches of rain is possible across the watch area. The heaviest rain is expected to occur late Monday afternoon and evening. Added to the elevated river levels across Northeast New Jersey and portions of the lower Hudson Valley this rainfall could bring these rivers and small streams to flood stage.

The flood watch includes portions of Bergen, Eastern Passaic, Essex, Hudson, Union and Western Passaic in Northeast New Jersey counties and Orange And Rockland counties in Southeast NYS.
