Olive’s fundraiser for Haiti which was held on Sunday, January 31st was a huge success. We collected dozens of boxes of clothing, shoes, towels and blankets as well as donations throughout the day and night. In total along with Olive’s donations we collected $600 for Haiti. I presented the check last night to Bonnie Fletcher from the Red Cross at the first Riverspace gathering at Bourbon St.
We had musicians, from all over the tri state area, some of the greatest musicians around. It was one of the most entertaining days in the history of Olive’s.
Thank you all for your help and support. Perhaps this donation will help some families get their lives back in order in Haiti.
