Nyack, Jan 18 — Once again the folks at Provident Bank have exhibited their wholehearted support for the cultural, social and historical values of our village. In this photo Provident Bank director Dennis L. Coyle begins placement of Nyack’s newest history marker commemorating the Underground Railroad in the Hudson Valley on Martin Luther King Day.
Provident Bank, at the behest of the Historic Underground Railroad Society (HUGRS), sponsored the marker which will be formally installed at the coming opening of the bank’s new branch office at Route 9W and High Avenue.
