Nyack Library Tie-breaker Runoff Election

by Roger Seiler

The Nyack Library will hold a tie-breaker runoff election for one library trustee position on February 9, 2010 at the library between the hours of 10 am and 9 pm. This is the same day as the library budget vote, also at the library.

This runoff is required because two of the candidates on the trustees election ballot on January 11th received the same number of votes: 107. These candidates are Michael Growney of Upper Nyack and Deirdre O’Hagan of South Nyack.

Any voting-age resident of Nyack, South Nyack, Upper Nyack, Grand View, and the parts of Upper Grandview and Central Nyack that are within the Nyack School System, may vote in this election.

Roger Seiler is President of the Nyack Library Board of Trustees
