Haitian Earthquake Aid

This announcement has been reposted from NyackSchools.com

The District sends its deepest sympathies to our Haitian families in regard to the earthquake tragedy and offers our support in any way possible.

In our schools principals are working closely with their crisis teams to support students who may need assistance dealing with the tragedy. We will keep the community updated.

Konbit Neg Lakay, a local Haitian Organization, is hosting a meeting tomorrow morning, Thursday January 14 at 9:00 AM, to discuss the tragedy in Haiti and how we can offer our assistance to the people of Haiti. The meeting will be held at 16 East Church Street in Spring Valley. The local media will be present and all local residents are welcome to attend. Once a plan is in place for the relief effort, we will forward the locations where donations can be made
