The St. Nicholas Day Festival returns to Rockland on Saturday 12/5 with shows at 11a, 12:15p and 1:30p at the at the Historical Society of Rockland.
The traditional Dutch celebration, held at the 1832 Jacob Blauvelt House, is a fun chance for children, ages three to ten, to hear Dutch stories about the legend of St. Nicholas. Shoes are left on the doorstep for St. Nick’s helpers to fill with goodies, hot apple cider and ginger cream cookies are served.
Don’t miss the chance to see St. Nicholas makes a special visit with his horse.
The Historical Society of Rockland is located at 20 Zukor Road in New City. Admission is $5 children under two are admitted free. Includes admission to the 34th Annual Miniature and Dollhouse Show: A Serendipity! and refreshments.
