As Others See Us: Café Barcel

Nyack, Dec 18 — Former Invesco portfolio manager Nidia Alexander knows what it takes to succeed in big business. Now she’s trying her hand at small business, opening Café Barcel on at 162 Main Street in Nyack.

“Yes, the economy is struggling,” Alexander tells business Website WestFair Online. “Nyack is having its share of struggles, too. But the economy has been through this before and has bounced back, and we are going to bounce back again.”

Alexander says she has invested over $100,00 in the 48-seat café and wine bar which serves nouveau American dishs with some Latino and Mediterranean influences.
