Give Where You Live: Nanuet Cares

“Nanuet Cares,” a meet and greet for the public to learn about all of the good deeds being performed right in our own backyards, will be held at the Nanuet Public Library on Tuesday 12/1/09 from 3:00 – 7:00 pm.  Members of the public can come to the library to learn about volunteering and donation opportunities thus giving back during the holiday season.

Non-Profit organizations can also use the opportunity to network within their own charitable community. Charities who previously attended the event last year (some 40+ groups) have their invitations. Not-for-profit groups can respond directly to the Nanuet Library nan@rcls.org if they would like to attend. Table space is free but must be allotted on a strict first come and first served basis.

All Rockland County based non-profits are invited to particpate. To receive an invitation to the event, contact Marc Silverstein (845-624-0050).

The snow date for the 4th annual Nanuet Cares is on 12/2.
