After many grueling months of campaigning, debating, forums, fund raisers and political battles, the people of Nyack have chosen their new leaders; Mayor Richard Kavesh, Trustee Jen Laird-White and Trustee Doug Foster. Congratulations to all of you for the hard work and dedication you’ve given during this campaign . Now we can all join forces and take part in the future revitilization of Nyack.
To Denise Hogan and Maureen Dougher: you both put forth so much effort into this campaign. Let’s not end it here. The new Mayor and board will need so much help from all of the Nyack community. Those that have been on board or campaigning for a position within the village should not stop here. Now it is time to put all our differences behind us and move forward focusing on the issues that need to be immediately addressed in Nyack. I’m anxious and available to give much of my time to this village and I hope many other come forward to help. We need a community that works together.
Best of luck to the newly elected officials and may you work well together.
Congrats!
