For the Next 7 Generations, Sunday

by Alan Levin

See the story of 13 indigenous grandmothers from all around the world who came together to help create a new way of life to bring the planet back into balance this Sunday 11/22 at 2p at the Fellowship of Reconciliation in Upper Nyack.

Increasingly, people raised in the mindset of Western Civilization are opening to the deep wisdom of indigenous people and their traditions that maintained a connection between human and all other life. The very moving film, “For the Next 7 Generations – International Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers,”  gives a closer look at 13 women elders from different continents of the earth coming together for the purpose of healing the planet.

For the Next 7 Generations is directed and produced by Emmy and Peabody Award winning filmmaker, Carole Hart, narrated by renowned actress and activist, Ashley Judd, and includes a moving musical score by Emmy Award-winning composer Peter Buffett.

A discussion will follow the screening with Rev. Janet Kroboth-Weber, a Rockland County resident who serves as personal assistant to the 13 Indigenous Grandmothers Council and endorsed public speaker.

Sunday, November 22nd, 2009 at the Fellowship of Reconciliation from 2p – 4p
