Kavesh Friend-Raiser

by Richard Kavesh

What’s the difference between a fund-raiser and a “friend-raiser?” Read on to find out.

On Sunday 10/4 I’m sponsoring a thank-you party at Nyack Plaza to thank Nyack’s Democratic voters for having voted to nominate me as the Democratic candidate for Mayor of Nyack. It is open to the general public at no charge, whether they voted for me or not.

This “friend-raiser” will be held on the Artopee Esplanade right in front of the Depew Senior building at 100 Depew Avenue, and the festivities (burgers, dogs, drinks, etc.) will kick off on 2p on Sunday 10/4. The party should be going for about two ‘€“ three hours, which should give everyone plenty of time to go the Health Care rally afterwards on Sunday.

A splendid time is guaranteed for all.

In case of ‘€œiffy’€ weather please call (914) 954-5100. Or, if you can’t come, but have an issue that’s on your mind, call 353-1935 or email richard77@optonline.net

Richard Kavesh,
Democratic candidate for Mayor of Nyack

P.S. If you’re unable to come but would like to help defray some of these or other campaign expenses of mine, the Friends of Richard Kavesh (6 Tillou Lane, Nyack, 10960) would cheerfully accept your donation (but please, no donations from village employees or from people with business before thte village).
