On September 20, travel 25 miles in one hour and cover 400 years of history. Join the Historical Society of the Nyacks for a visit to the Museum of the City of New York for two special Hudson Quadricentennial exhibits.
- Amsterdam / New Amsterdam. The Worlds Of Henry Hudson celebrating the 400th anniversary of Henry Hudson’s historic voyage.
- Manahatta / Manhattan, “island of many hills” in Lenape, which explores the environment that Hudson encountered, including stately wetlands, abundant wildlife and people who lived in line with nature.
Weather permitting, there will have a light lunch on the museum terrace and a visit to the beautiful Conservatory Garden, just across the street in Central Park.
