Genealogy lecture in Clarkstown, 10/5

Clarkstown logoGenealogy instructor Tony Lauriano will lecture on the basics of genealogical research using U.S. census, naturalization, birth, death, and marriage records on Mon 10/5. The lecture will be hosted by Town Clerk David Carlucci whose office has digitized over 255 years of records to help residents do genealogical research.

This summer Carlucci was honored by the Greater Hudson Heritage Network for his work to preserve and interpret the history, material culture and diversity of the Greater Hudson region. The award recognized Carlucci’s program to preserve and make accessible town records too fragile to be handled by the general public.

The genealogy lecture will held be on 10/5 from 7-9p at the Clarkstown Town Hall, 10 Maple Avenue, New City in room 311. for more information call 845-639-2010.
