Rivertown Cops Top $100k Pay

A Journal News Freedom Of Information Act filing found that every full-time officer, sergeant and chief in the South Nyack/Grand View and Piermont police departments earned more than $100,000 last year.

South Nyack/Grand View Police Chief Robert Van Cura lead the top earners with  almost $170k in pay followed by Piermont Police Chief Michael O’Shea at just under $157,000. Village officials said the pay scale is justified based on the officer’s experience and responsibilities.
