Opponents of the administrations health care plan are protesting on South Broadway today in front of Nyack’s post office. If you pass by you’ll see lots of literature and hear lots of anti-government venom. The display includes a poster that says “Lyndon LaRouche was Right”and a picture of Barrack Obama with a little moustache painted above his lip.
I know this group is very passionate and believes we can’t trust anything the government says. But today’s demonstration also makes you wonder: if you can’t believe what the government says, what makes this group more credible and why should we believe anything they say, either?
