As Others See Us: Bicycling Magazine

“About 20 miles north of the George Washington Bridge… Nyack has the ride to scratch it,” says Bicyling Magazine. “Just across the Tappan Zee bridge from Westchester, artsy Nyack is a city cyclist’s getaway.”

Local cyclists might want to supplement  Bicycling Mag’s best bike friendly picks with a few of their own. Under the heading, “The Best Of Nyack,” local mentions include The Runcible Spoon Bakery, Turiello’s Pizza and The Rockland Bike Club. Nyack Bicycle Outfitters owner Jim Skelley gets a plug, too.

Not quite sure why the Nyack Boat Club and the Hudson River Swim made the list, too, unless Bicycling Magazine knows something we don’t about bikes  that can both draft and float, too.
