AGC! was founded by Carlo Pellegrini and Janet Hayes and started as a youth group’s project to send a message
of hope to the community after the tragic events of 9/11/2001.  Eight years later, the organization has grown into a year-round, not for profit organization offering circus-based programming to children and youth throughout the tri-state area.  Troupe members volunteer an average of 100 community service hours each year.

Director Carlo Pellegrini’s background as a professional in the circus arts (Big Apple Circus, Royal
Lichtenstein Circus, TV, movies) provides the inspiration for the AGC! curriculum and events.
