County Executive C. Scott Vanderhoef will be Nyack Center’s guest chef at our annual
Men Cooking fundraiser on Sunday, June 14th from 5:00-8:00 at Nyack Center. C. Scott
Vanderhoef will join more than 70 professional and amateur chefs including District
Attorney-Thomas Zugibe, County Clerk-Paul Piperato, Nyack Mayor John Shields and
other friends and neighbors.

Have a taste of what over 70 local amateur & professional chefs are cooking up at this
year’s event. Guests will have an opportunity to sample a wide variety dishes prepared
by chefs from around the area. Prior chefs have included government leaders,
celebrities, friends and neighbors.

The cook-off contestants will compete for a top honors as judged by the guests.

Because of the event’s popularity, we are expanding outdoors; Depew will be closed
from S. Broadway to Liberty to provide extra tables and tents.

Follow the tents, live music and sizzling BBQ cook-off and join the fun while supporting
Nyack Center’s programs.
“The event gets better each year. There’s a great sense of community, and the food is
excellent,” said Steven Cea, who has participated for the last five years.

Tickets are $20/adult and $10/child.
