Over 150 people showed up last Sunday to taste a wonderful selection of food, ranging from C. Scott Vanderhoef’s “daddy’s beans” to John Shield’s unbelievably rich coconut dessert. The Nyack Center raised $3,000. This was the Center’s 14th fundraiser in the past 8 months.
“We are just looking for creative ways to raise money. In these difficult economic times the demand for our services has grown” said Kim Cross, Executive Director at the Nyack Center.
