Hooked on the Hook

hookmtnbathhouseSee artists work their visual magic this Saturday at Hooked on the Hook in Nyack Beach State Park. The Palisades Interstate Parks Commission event will bring together artists and environmentalists to benefit Keep Rockland Beautiful on June 13 from 9a to 4p.

An evening reception at 7p in the historic Bath House at Hook Mountain will feature gourmet treats from local restaurants, locally brewed beer, live music and the Artists in the Parks Silent Art Auction.

Tickets to this benefit reception are $65 per person. Call Andy Stewart at Keep Rockland Beautiful (845-708-9159) for reservations.

Ticket sales will benefit Keep Rockland Beautiful’s trash can painting and other beautification projects. Proceeds from the art auction will support the restoration of the Bath House, enhancing the site for picnics and events.
