Houston Person Returns to Riverspace

Jazz aficionados will enjoy a wonderful night in the Riverspace café when legendary tenor and Nyack resident Houston Person returns on Friday, May 15 with shows at 8:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. as part of the Jazz Highlights program. This South Carolina native who has been playing some of the most swinging, bluesy saxophone on the planet for years is best known for his long-term collaboration with Etta Jones. As he heads into his 74th year, Person’s sound and soulful groove have grown even deeper. House band includes Richard Sussman on piano, Cameron Brown on bass and Steve Johns on drums.
