Crowded Nyack Mayor’s Race Has Another Entry

Nyack Village Board Richard Kavesh will announce his intention to run for Mayor of Nyack according to the LeftOfTheHudson blog. Current trustees Denise Hogan and Marie Lorenzini are also running as well as local business owners Richard Quinn and Marianne Olive.

John Shields, Nyack’s current mayor, has announced he will retire at the end of his fourth term later this year.
