The Astronomy Club at Rockland Community College invites the public to see Saturn and the Moon through the college’s high-powered telescopes on Wednesday April 1 from 8p-10p.
Bring the family to see Saturn and the Moon through modern telescopes that Galileo could only dream about. This event is part of the UN sanctioned International Year of Astronomy 2009, a world-wide event to get all humanity to experience viewing through a telescope just as Galileo did 400 years ago.
Meet at the Fieldhouse parking lot, south side of campus on Wednesday evening.
