Memories of the Knickerbocker Festival

Winter is still with us.  Nyack is very lucky that the end of the Mardi Gras festival didn’t have yesterday’s weather.  That would have put a damper on the gumbo cookoff.

Many of us missed the 2009 Knickerbocker Festival the end of January. There were beautiful ice sculptures at Rockland Lake (See Journal News article). Below are some photos taken by local, amateur photographers Roger Cohen and Janice Cohen.
