Tonight at 6pm the Village will be discussing what to do with cars parked on the street during snow storms. Victor Overton, Superintendent of Maintenance, has expressed frustration over the number of cars parked on the street as his crew is trying to clear the streets. It costs the Village more as the plows have to repeatedly return to clean up when the cars finally move.
What is the best way to save money? Ban all on-street parking during snow days. Obviously, that would be unpopular for those lacking off-street parking. But these are hard times.
