Part-time Work You Can Count On

How many people live in Nyack and Rockland County? You can be part of both the answer and the solution if you work for the Census Bureau.

The U.S. Census Bureau is hiring temporary, part-time workers to conduct the 2010 Census with an hourly rate of $14-21 an hour. Work starts in the early spring of 2009 and is anticipated to last for approximately 18 months.

You must be 18 years old or older; pass a multiple choice test, and have a valid social security number.  U.S. citizens will be given preference.  Call  866/861-2010 to register to take the test which will be conducted at the Blauvelt Library (on Thursdays and Saturdays) and the Pearl River libraries (TBA) through February 12.
