The 2009-10 proposed New York State budget includes funding cuts to Rockland County hospitals. Nyack Hospital will see $5 million less and Good Samaritan in Suffern will be cut $12 million. That’s a small part of the $2.5 billion cutback health care providers will see in state and federal matching funds, according to the Hospital Association of New York.
